13 different models are available with features such as DIN optics with magnifications up to 1000x, binocular and dual-viewing heads, tungsten or fluorescent illumination, and mechanical stages. Economically priced, the TM400 is the workhorse of a well-appointed high school laboratory.

VIEWING HEADS
Available with monocular, binocular, or dual-viewing heads that allow video or photomicrography. All heads are 360° rotatable and have 30° inclined eyetubes; binocular head has dual diopter adjustment and interpupillary distance variable from 52mm to 72mm.
EYEPIECES
Single (monocular head) or paired (binocular head) DIN WF10x, FN 18.
OBJECTIVE CHANGER
Smooth-operating, ball bearing mounted, triple or quadruple revolving nosepiece.
OBJECTIVES
All DIN standard: S. Flat Achromat, or Phase Achromat.
STAGES
115mm x 120mm fixed stage. Available with stage clips, attached mechanical stage with 30mm (X) x 70mm (Y) movement and top-mounted controls, or attached mechanical stage with 30mm(X) x 70mm (Y) movement and drop-down coaxial controls.
CONDENSERS
NA 0.65 with disc diaphragm; NA 1.25 Abbe condenser in spiral focusing mount with iris diaphragm and 30mm filter tray; NA 1.25 Abbe condenser in rack and pinion focusing mount, with iris diaphragm and 30mm filter tray; NA 1.25 phase condenser with dark-field stop and position for bright-field with iris diaphragm.
ILLUMINATOR
20W, 30W, 30W with variable intensity control, or Super Lite ™ fluorescent.
